In the form of this Limited Edition 2023 Collection Strat, the Fender Custom Shop has done something really special. This homage to the mid-sixties comes equipped with a full pack of Dual-Mag II single-coils that spoon out sweet, balanced sound framed by singing trebles and creamy-rich basses. As the name suggests, these pickups literally have a dual-magnet core, where an Alnico V captures the low-E to G strings, and an Alnico II captures the B and high-E strings. The result is an electric guitar that not only sings but screams and roars! As another sweet bonus, the electronics loadout also features a built-in Tone-Saver treble bleed circuit so your tone is fully retained, even when the volume is rolled back. The Fender Custom Shop 2023 Collection '65 Dual-Mag Strat comes pre wrapped in a deluxe case complete with a strap and certificate of authenticity.

To bring the look of this one-off Strat fully up to spec with the sound, the two-piece, hand-selected alder body has been dipped in an Aged Blue Ice Metallic paint-job before being given the Journeyman Relic treatment. The hand-applied wear and tear gives this model the look of a fully played-in and well-gigged Strat, while the Closet Classic Gold hardware and black pickguard add the final deluxe touches. When it comes to playability, your fret-hand is spoilt by the fast and light feel of a quarter-sawn maple neck with a '65-style C-profile, a round-lam rosewood fretboard with a 9.5 inch radius and a set of twenty-one Narrow-Tall frets.
